123 Bighar farmer Billal's success story

State Minister for Youth and Sports Zahid Ahsan Russell handed over the award to him at the National Youth Day function at Osmani Memorial Auditorium in the capital on November 1. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina joined the program virtually from Ganobhaban.
Matiur Rahman Billal, who got a place in the merit list of the Technical Education Board, tried to do something exceptional after completing his studies in mechanical engineering. Two more talented young engineers, Abdul Aziz and Engineer Abdul Alim, extended their cooperation with him.
Three dreamy young men overcame all odds and established a dairy farm named 'Amish Foods and Agro Industries Limited' in January 2015 on 10 bigha land in Kumarpara village of Duptara Union of Araihajar Upazila.
In 2020 started commercial cow farming for milk and meat. Their dairy farm, which invested 7 lakh rupees, now has a wealth of several crore rupees. He has already received national recognition as a successful entrepreneur.
Billal said that he always dreamed of becoming an entrepreneur. And from that their journey began. Their farm now not only produces milk, but also produces dairy products and rears beef cows.
The farm is currently spread over 123 bighas in total. Among them, the arrangement of various biodiversity and livestock farms is 11 bigha. 54 workers are currently working in this farm. Amish Foods and Agro Industries Limited has become a role model for the youth of the area. At present, the number of cows that give milk regularly in that farm is 52. The farm has also been a commercial success in the last Qurbani. The fattening of cows for the next sacrifice has started.
Billal said that he is ensuring 100% supply of grass before raising cows in the shed. The farm has 158 goats of four species, 26 Turkish dumbas, 6 deer, two species of ducks and fish farming in ponds. A shed has a colorful fan. full of chirping sounds. A pond on one side of the farm. Fishing is going on there. Duck farm near the pond. There are two species of ducks. Swan and Khaki Campbell.
Billal said, the farm has 1500 camel and king ducks, 43 rabbits, 80 pigeons, 14 beautiful birds and various species of fish in the pond.
Engineer Abdul Aziz, chairman of Amish Foods and Agro Industry Limited, said that this initiative is an effort to deliver pure products to people along with trade. The venture has more social responsibility than commercial profit.
